TL;DR: Get your stuff from Sewell's site before March 1, they're closing.

There was an online petition started by a CL member yesterday. I don't know if it will actually get Sewell to reconsider, but its worth a shot.

I live 150 miles from the closest Lexus dealership so I'd hate to lose Sewell as an option.

Signed! Prices are already going up for CL. A full set of front and rear OEM pads and front rotors was sub $500 a week ago, today +$700

 

Im ordering a set of front pads while I can. I have afresh rotors waiting in the garage . Might as well load up while we can

 

Sewell has been an integral part of this community, providing extensive discounts on OEM parts. It also helped that some dealers were able to price match certain items and thus saving more on shipping. As of last week, a few items I was looking into had begun going up in price, even with the CL discount.

 

Just noticed this, so are they taking away the CL login/discount on the new site?

 

To be honest, most parts can be found for similar price; if not cheaper. You just have to type the part number on the Google. One great thing about Sewell is that you can find info on parts pretty easily. I often search Sewell for the part numbers and then Google it to make sure the price is among the lowest before I buy.

 

Agreed, I do the same. It was just a good backup option just in case.

They offer a lot and great accessories. Where can we find the same variety online?

By the way, saw they offer the LED Headlamp retrofit for 08-10 IS-F to look like the 2011+ models.
That is great, someone here has done it?

 

Petition signed, this sucks I was going to order a complete front set of brakes. Rotors, pads, shims & hardware kit. If I added it all togther it was like $850 or so, now I will have to order all of this before 3/1. Sucks...

You can imagine how us Canadian feels about this too. Since they stopped shipping to Canada, we have to pick up across the border (which isn't a big problem). But at today's currency exchange rate, I have to pay 26% (1 USD = 1.26 CAD) if I want to buy before March 1, 2015 compare to waiting for the CAD dollar to improve. Decisions, decisions..
