Default Adams rotors or R1 concepts

Hey guys I'm ready to order another pair of Front rotors. I don't want to go drilled anymore but would rather do some kind of slots.

What vendor would you recomend Adams rotor or r1 concepts are they any good and driven aggressively ? what type of slots ?

See Posts #5, #6 and #9 of this thread concerning Adams Rotors. I have them (slotted) on the front. They are working very well with my Ferodo pads, but if you buy them don't get the hats painted, be prepared for less than stellar customer service, and very poor packaging. But, as I said, I have no issues with them now.

What would be better just slotted or the speed slotted they have ?
The painted part come off or burn off ? I have my centric rotors painted the way I have them no issue. Must be diffrent I guess.

How long have you had them?

^^^^Why would you suggest that when the OP stated specifically that:

And I understand his reasons fully. Have you looked at the rotors on the RCF? They're not drilled

we have completely redone our packaging inside & out since your situation...it's a non-issue now:

on top of that, we in the midst of prototyping new hub & vent powder coat prodcedures, fully in-house...
we plane to be releasing this VERY soon along with a few other killer additions to our catalog. stay tuned & follow us in our threads and our FB fan page.

slotting dissipates heat, helps avoid glazing, and adds bite...**
we've focused most of our exclusive patterns around slotting (our double slotting specifically, which we're known for, was designed & tested in many track & endurance race scenarios) to not only keep your brakes cooler when put to the test, but look good with unique, customizable ways of implementing them on factory spec rotors.*

with that said, for a daily driven street car, it*really*makes no difference when the car isn’t seeing hot brakes &*aggressive stopping.
in this case I always say to pick your favorite;*after all, our concept is to have the customer choosing what they like for they’re own custom rotor.

but vs. speed or standard slotted? they are very similar in their surface area of slot...speed is a bit better.
race (double slot) is superior.

Is there any weight savings vs the stock OEM rotors?

^ as posted in our FAQ's:

"do adam's rotors weigh less?"

yes, but we don't advertise as a lightweight alternative because the difference is marginal. but yes, they are lighter.
unless you're a true race driver and this car only sees the track, noone out there can truly feel/utilize this "unsprung" weight with brakes on a daily driver that people have argued for ages. more importantly, it is hardly worth the extra money for these costly discs or the severely shorter lifespan of 2-piece LW alternatives for that matter. the blanks weigh less than stock blanks as is and after machining, even less of course. drilling takes about .75lb from the fronts and about .5lb from the rears. slotting takes half that amount. drilled/slotted variations are somewhere between those two give or take and a bit more when we look at our own patterns.

Ok I guess I'm going to wait for the update of all the new updates.

As said before even the RCF and all new high performance cars are not drilled my biggest dislike with drilled is the major groves that appear.
My Front pads and rotors last me about a year there is some life left on the rotor but groves are so bad it would take past min spec to correct.

Just an update did a lot of driving and they held up really well! Would recommend even with extreme heat and my buddy cooking the brakes.
I got the race double slot with painted black.

I stood on the brakes from 50+ Sunday to >10 in a very very short distance Sunday at the track drifting, I have figs rotors, stoptech street pads/lines/fluid and had other brand slotted rotors before that warped I just a high speed straight run.. The current figs/stoptech is my setup to run on or off the track (even on cheap fed OG 595's), I was truly amazed after this event with how my isf performs, my vids of the technical track run on instagram, here's the pregame shoe change and some 3/8ths initiation!!
