Default Audio Help

Good morning,

I just received my 08 ISF yesterday, and after winter it will be my daily driver. With that said, I would like to add IPOD integration as well as android connectivity to use Pandora from my phone and navigation. The Vai ML plus seemed to be a very popular option on these forums, but after contacting the company I discovered that the product has been discontinued.

Any recommendations for a similar option? Would prefer to keep cost's under $450.00. Thank you for any suggestions.

Why not do the iVic that vais offers. Mirrors your phone while using the factory controls.

If your 08 has the am-sat button, then you can pick up iSimple (works w/android/iphone). You can find on ebay or amazon, its about $120 and maybe 20-50 for installation or you can DIY. But not sure if Pandora will work with it.

I bought the iVIC from Vais last year and it works great with my Android phone. I just connect my phone via MHL/HDMI cable to the iVIC box and it shows up on my navi screen. The phone is also connected to the iVIC box via bluetooth to emulate mouse inputs whenever you touch the navi screen.

I'm using the iVIC-D for my 09 ISF, I think they have a newer one called IVIC-DR now.

I don't have any apple products, but Vais has a different product to connect both Android and iOS devices. They also have a different version of the iVIC for iOS devices

Does this hook up to your phone via Bluetooth, or can it be plugged in?

you can always rip out the cd player and add a real aftermarket deck that will do all that. The cd player will crap out on you one day anyways......mine started keeping my cds only to return them when it felt like it.

Curious on how that model would look. Does it just replace the cd portion of the console, or the actual touch screen? The size looks similar, so is just screen for screen?
