Default Differences between '12 and '13/'14?

Hey all. In the past I've owned a few different Lexus models (2IS 350 and 3GS 450h). Currently I'm with an Audi (A4) but am starting to really regret having to take it into the shop so often! I'm set on getting an IS-F as I loved the 350 I had but wanted more performance. I'm having a hard time finding any info on what was different between the 2012 and 2013/2014 model years. It would appear the entertainment system is slightly different? Any mechanical differences (like the LSD differences in earlier models)? I've searched but it didn't return any good threads. Please help!

Thanks!

Okay, finally found a few threads (using Google search but not the forum search...go figure!)

Looks like these were what I was looking for:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ar-of-isf.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-2011-isf.html

Sorry about that. Mods please delete/close thread.

Looks like the major decision is whether to go 08-10 or 11 and up.

'12, '13, and '14 are essentially the same. get whichever one suits you best in terms of price/mileage etc.

Thanks for the confirmation guys. One last question, is there a difference in the Nav/Media system from the 2012 model to the 13 or 14? Looking at pictures, it appears that the button layout is different (13 and 14 have a distinctly phone shaped button on the left hand side). It also appears that the 13 and 14 may support Lexus Enform (apps), does the 12?

I promise I searched as much as I could for these differences, but I could really only find mechanical differences (LSD, Steering, Suspension, etc.)

Thanks again!

there is a diff in the nav/media, enform as you mention, and you can upload your own startup image (small thing i know). i would get the '13 vs '11, to me the '12 is no mans land haha. because with the '13 you get all the final suspension/handling revisions. not just 'most' of them. plus if you are looking for white, the ultra white came out in '13, and its a nicer white than sfp, imo.

to me the decision would be '11 vs '13 if price is the factor. otherwise go with the 2013 as i personally think its the pinnacle year for the is-f
