Default Sensor location

Hey guys I was wondering if someone can please help me out with this. I searched but found a couple of different answers but wasn't sure. I got Sikky headers and Joe Z exhaust installed about 6 months ago and haven't had any problems. A couple of weeks ago I had a check engine light go on about a mile after I filled up at the gas station. I thought maybe I didn't close the cap enough so I cleared the light by pulling the ECU fuses and it was good for a couple of hundred miles until a few days ago it came back on. So I bought a code reader and I got codes P0136 & P0156. Do you think it could be the MIL eliminator from Sikky or did both sensors go bad at the same time? I took a look at the MIL eliminator wiring on the ECU harness and it looks to be good. Also I'm confused about what sensors the codes refer to. Are they the oxygen sensors or the air to fuel ratio sensors? Any help would be greatly appreciated and I know this has be discussed before but I just wanted to make sure before I order new sensors. Thanks.

Check for exhaust leaks. Inspect your donut gaskets to see if they are still good. P0136 ,P0156 is the sensor not on the header, its the downstream sensor .

Thanks for the reply. Now that you mentioned the gaskets I remember the shop saying they had to make gaskets for that section. I'll take a look at the gaskets for leaks. Thanks again.

Make gaskets??? Hmmm shouldnt have to make them. From header to exhaust is the donut gasket supplied.some people had to double up. I had that code before and it was from a bad gasket/exhaust leak.

Yeah now thinking back and looking at the instructions for the Joe Z exhaust. I'm thinking they didn't reuse the oem crush gaskets and made gaskets for that section.

Ok guys I checked for exhaust leaks where the headers meet the Joe-Z exhaust and also on the rear section but didn't find any. I also cleared the codes and got 4 codes this time. Codes P0137 and P0157 to go along with the P0136 and P0156. Do you think the sensors are shot or do you think it could be the Sikky MIL eliminator? Thanks for your help on this guys, I really want to get this figured out so I could get it fixed.

The shop that installed my headers installed the MIL eliminator. The connections looks good. They striped and soldered the wires and wrapped them with tape per the Sikky instructions. I know in previous threads its been discussed that it's better to use taps. You think the eliminator could have just went bad after 6 months?

Its possible. The kinda good thing is theres not much involved as far as troubleshooting. Bad sim, bad sensors or a leak.
