October 4th I'll be on the Dragon.
My family got a place out in Maggie Valley, but I'm still deciding where to go out there. It looks like Oct. 3 I'll be heading into either Chattanooga or Knoxville and playing on the dragon and charahola skyway the 4th then head out to Maggie Valley. I'm up for meeting up with anyone that wants to have some fun in the back roads that day.
Seems there some imterest from Atlanta. Would everyone want to meet up on the 3rd in Chattanooga and just stay somewhere downtown and head out the next day to hit all the fun roads? Cherahola Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, Moonshine run, etc.
On the bike I took 30 to 315 to 165 (cherahola) to the 29 (tail of the dragon) and ride that 3 or 4 times then out 28 (moonshine run. I'd have to split off from there to Maggie Valley. For the Atlanta guys, keep on going down 28 to Atlanta. You'll love that road.

Be sure to take 143 over to 165 Tellico Plains ride.
For high speed straights and curves up top of the Dragon is the Foot Hills Parkway. Triple digit speeds easy and fun to do on a great road that is hardly used.
I have found Tues-Thursdays are the best days to do any high speed stuff as the tourist and the crazies are out on the weekends along with the Police. I have been 26 trips with cars and bikes. Awesome

one thing I did notice is after the car is fully warm, the oil gauge is at 3 bars, but when i was doing a hard run, it got to 5 bars. I don't know what that translates into temperature wise but on the run back i eased up some and let it sit at 4 bars

I'm in Memphis. Is your car silver? I saw one in the parking lot at Big River Restaurant when I was there this spring.
