when I financed my car through my credit union, they offered it, as long as the car has less than 100k miles.

at %1.99 percent, it was almost impossible to pass up on.

You could buy my ISF lol it has 89k miles haha

I have never had any good results dealing with third party warranty companies. If you like to mod your car, the company will try it's hardest to say any aftermarket part you put on was the cause of the problem and that voids your warranty. Better to just save the money and pay for any problems IF they arise. These cars are built pretty well I hear.

I had a call from a third party warranty outfit today while I was driving the F. They offered four year, 100,000 mile coverage for $3000, but insisted I commit right then. I got a little peeved, told them I was driving and to email me the details. They hung up.

This. Go through your credit union if you can.

I got an ADDITIONAL 100k drivetrain + a\c warranty for $1,000. Apparently the warranty companies aren't too concerned with things breaking on the IS-F.

Again, read the fine print. Most are named exclusion policies, and a LOT of 3rd party warranties specify that they won't pay for OEM parts unless that is the only part available.
