Default Closest to O.E. suspension upgrade ?

Just curious as to all the stock suspension F owners out there what would be the alternative to maintain same ride height but an upgraded springs/shocks, etc. Not sure of the life epectancy of the original setup on earlier cars such as mine vs the newer F models w the newer suspension setup. Thanks.

someone is selling 2012 ISF stock suspension in classifieds. Suppose to be a big improvement over pre 2011 suspensions, less harsh but also better handling.

You'd have to do a lot more than just a suspension swap to get all of the extra handling goodies. More like the rear sub frame as well.

So upgrading to a 2012 may not be the best of ideas after all ? I only have 17k miles on my car was just thinking of other alternatives for an everyday ride setup for when my car hits higher miles out of curiousity...

I would say swapping out the springs will only mean the struts are not for those spring rates.

I say... save some money... and its totally worth every penny... get either a KW coilover system... OR get TEIN SUPERSTREET... they can be adjusted to be stiff or stiffer or softer than stock... and you can adjust the height to be stock or slightly lower.

NOW there will be a lot of people afterwards are going to say SWIFT on BC... or Megan this or that... PERSONALLY I've only used those two companies, because I used them on my track cars, they are race proven and the quality is excellent, if you can get OHLiN your cool, only experience with that was on my buddy's track r1.

BUTTTTTT its completely up to you, if your gonna track your car get race proven parts, if you gonna go for looks just ask some of these guys....

just don't AIG BAG IT... its an ISF for heaven sake... its meant to go against M3's all the other big german sedans.
