On my Subaru it turned on once in a while when a connector under the seat came loose. It might be something similar in your car?

Did you replace any bumpers recently? Maybe one of sensors were damaged some how? All the harness plugs sit pretty tight so it's unlikely one of them came loose unless it was unplugged and not seated correctly when replaced. But you never know anything happen...

I would move the seats all the way forward and up and then check the connection for the harness below the seat. Do you ride with people in the back. Maybe someone with some big feet messed with the connection or an object under the seat did it. Not sure

What year is your F? I had an airbag light come on and it ended up being a fault harness under neath the dash area. It was covered under warranty . I cant remeber if it was a recall or tsb.

Neither. TIS does not show any recall or LSB for anything SRS related.

My light came on about a week ago...took it to my friend to have it read...Fr driver side knee airbag. Probably a loose connection, still haven't took it in to the dealer yet...

I just looked ut up. Its a lsb addressing this issue. It affected mostly 250s and 350s but my ISF was also affected. Dealer replaced mine under warranty.L-SB-0167-08. Theres was a faulty harness going to the drivers knee squib.
