The fasteners stretch when they are installed the first time and cannot be reused as they are then going to be re-stretch beyond their max tension and can snap and cause catastrophic wheel failure.

Also the 23ft/lbs is not an ADV.1 spec for their torque rating either. At the very least contact sean@adv1wheels.com (he has helped me with all of my refinishing) and order some new assembly hardware. It should be like 80-100 bucks. It's a small investment in not killing yourself when the hardware you used snaps in half.
I've sent three emails to ADV.1 over the past week with no reply... I just sent another to Sean.

really hope I dont have to do all of this over again.

Sean got back to me almost immediately!

Wheel spec torque values are 27ft-lbs.

The wheel bolts ARE NOT torque to yield type bolts and DO NOT need to be replaced unless they are old and show signs or wear and tear. Obviously they recommend changing them out which I will do, however not until they arrive... for now I'm mounting them.

I guess we will see how the wheels balance out.

Wheels balanced very well with very little weight, ride extremely smooth, and have not fluctuated in pressure at all since being mounted yesterdat afternoon...

Not to mention look unreal.

Here is a couple quick phone snaps right after having them mounted! It was raining and overcast so I will have to grab some better quality pictures this weekend

Good to see that you got it done on your own and that the wheels balanced out nice. They look sweet, props on the originality!
I was thinking that they where going to maybe look a little ricey from the pics but they don't at all. I think they look great against the black car.

It's really not worth the money to pay someone to re-assemble 3-piece wheels. It is not rocket science. I have re-assembled 3 sets of Work's and HRE's and had no problems. The HRE's are taken around a track a few times a year even.

Correct on the bolts. They arent needed to be replaced. Glad to see you knock this out on your own. Never seen a powder change colors so dramatically with light!
