I've been thinking of cat and muffler delete for a while now. A buddy of mine recommended looking into ECV's? Something like this?

don't go that route.

Search for QTP electronic exhaust cutouts (ebay or summit)

Then search our forum, this has been done and discussed several times.

 

Are you having good luck with the QTP product? I had 4 of them fail in one summer, between 2 cars, and then stopped using them. I have one more brand new one here that is waiting to go on a build we are doing...
I guess that will be the last chance.

 

I haven't had an issue with them failing.

I did however have an issue with the wiring during snow storms and rain. It stopped working until the undercarriage was dry.
