for the last four years iv been driving my F
i turn the car on reverse it out get on to the road
give it a slight rev to speed limit
i just smile gentle tap the steering wheel like your tapping some ones shoulder
im pretty sure some of you guys will feel the same way i do
I am still excited every time I walk up to the car or start her. What really makes me smile is the sound of that second intake and the ISF growl that come with it. After driving an LS460 on 22s for 3 years I am still blown away by the pull this car has. I just wish the damn gas tank was bigger and that stereo had some *****. The stereo in the ISf leaves a lot to be desired compared to what they drop in an LS460 with the ML package.
Couldn't agree more! My previous was a '96 LS400 that I loved for 7 years...steering column issue at 221k was its' demise...all I did was buy an amp, sub and box and I was literally slamming with stock stereo remaining. They matted the **** outta those cars, apparently.
And the gas tank thing gets me, too. It's weird when the gas light comes on just after 200 miles on a tank...I know it has 2.5-3 gallons left, but I find it hard to just keep driving and not fill up..
And the muscle-bound monster around 4k is awe-inspiring every single time...
Tis funny I never listen to the sound system in the F, I'm too busy enjoying the beautiful sound of the engine However, when in my Truck, the radio is always on when I'm alone, and that's a V8 too

Awesome post! I used to be a big car stereo enthusiast, and since I got the F I find myself turning the stereo off more than I ever have in any car...plus, it's not like I can hear anything over the rumble anyway if I'm letting the beast run free...
