Default SRT Intake replacement

I've done a ton of reading on intakes. When I purchased my 08 ISF it came with the SRT intake installed already. From what I've researched there are literally no positive gains with this intake? (more input would be nice if anyone has experience).

What I initially wanted to do was swap out the SRT intake and replace with Takeda intake, but Takeda would require a part of the stock airbox correct? So what are my options as far as replacing this SRT intake? Without the stock airbox I feel like I don't have very much options (can't do joe Z either??). Also if it is possible, would the dealership sell the oem intake system?

Edit: I think Injen will also install without an air box.

Noticeable gains? Nice sounds? I can't really compare what the SRT intake sounds like to anything else because I've never actually heard a stock ISF in person before lol. But if I can describe the SRT, it sounds deep but you don't really heard it until you pass 2K rpm.

If you want to go back to stock I have an extra stock air box. Caveat is the nipple for the second intake snapped off so it will stay open all the time. I have to piece so you could try and JB weld it or cap the vacuum line.
