Unhappy Drive safe guys

3 weeks ago I hit a pothole and my front right tire popped. Ordered tires the next day. About two and half weeks, got a call that they don't have the tires anymore. Thursday I ordered tires from Mr. Tires and was schedule for this morning. Received a call at 9 that they will be here Friday. Earlier tonight I hydroplaned (doughnut on front right and other tires completely down to the threads) once pretty badly but gained control. Two seconds later I hydroplaned again, while the rear of my car was dancing around, I hit a pothole and completely lost control. I did a 540 spin and front right tire hit the median, went up on the median and about 5 feet away from a tree, my rear passenger tire hit the median. Went back down did 720 and came to a stop. I was sure the car was completely totaled thinking the car hit the tree. Got out of the car with a few scratched to my leg and I was more surprised to see the car almost in perfect shape on the outside than me crashing and almost hitting a tree. Front bumper got a few bruises and scratches, rear bumper got a scratch. Either the pass rear control arm or axel is broken. And my rim Is really badly hit. I got the car towed to a shop and I will go tomorrow to take pictures and see the damage to the under of the car b/c it was full of mud from what I saw. I was not speeding knowing that i have bad tires and a doughnut, but this happened out of no where. And I consider myself as a pretty good driver also. Please drive safe, accidents will happen when you least expect them. I'm lucky to not be hurt and my car not totaled. I learned my lesson to not drive a 400+ hp car in the rain with a doughnut a bad tires in the rain!!!!!! I'll put up pics tmrw and know the exact damages.

Wow! Glad to hear you're safe and sound. While the car is pretty protective all around, so many bad things could have happened. You are definitely fortunate to come out of this relatively unscathed. Hopefully your F is ok and better days are to come, my friend!

wow sounds like you had a close call. Glad to see you aren't badly hurt.

This is why I changed my tires just 2 weeks ago, can't rely on older tires.

lol, so you're telling us to drive safe after you drove on 3 bald tires + 1 spare wheel? Good driver or not, you can't beat physics. Pretty knucklehead move to drive a car that unsafe since you're endangering others as well. You own an IS-F.. if you can't get a spare tire in a reasonable time then don't drive it and get a rental or buy a cheap tire in the meantime.

Tires can be replaced, people can't. As long as you're ok...

Like I said I got screwed over on the tires twice but either way you're right! And I did try to buy a spare tire but it seems like shops don't keep low profile sport used tires in stock... Lesson learned

traction control only helps with tires that have traction anyways, which he didn't have with bald tires...
