There should be a plethora of guys to help you here. My guess would be an installment issue (perhaps a loose bolt or something similar) b/c I've never heard of anyone having issues with their Joe-Z exhaust. Good luck, and I hope it gets corrected quickly.

I have had mine almost two months now with no rattles...I had the Sikky headers and Joe Z installed at the same time...I had major conversations with Lexus of Tampa Bay about rattles and actually stopped by there 1/2 way through the install (headers where done and exhaust was next)...the only thing that we saw when holding the exhaust in place prior to install that may have caused a rattle was a cover for the driveshaft...a small corner of it extends out over the exhaust...they removed it and cut the corner off so there would be no chance of a rattle...other than that we saw no other places where it may rattle as it is a quality system!!! Good luck.

is it when you are also making a turn or just over bumps? also is this a used exhaust or new? could be what others have suggested something might be loose from installment or the exhaust might be hitting against the plastic trim underneath. that happened to me and I just trim the plastic down. Joe will probably chime in soon.

I appreciate the feedback from you all.

This only happens over bumps. The exhaust is new and all hangers are installed.

Teo - which shop install your exhaust?

Joe z exhaust was by far hight gt pipe u can get in my book
Lift ur car and look under the car n check the angles of entire exhuast pipe if it rattle like some metal rattling then possible with the when u go over the bump the pipe is hitting some metal sheey under the car if the bolt was missing or thing like that thats exhaust leak tell the installers to do it again i pretty sure its not a joe z exhaust product fault

Check for clearance on the cross member, just behind the transmission. This is usually where some knocking can be heard.

While not a JOE Z exhaust (ISS forged) there is 2 cross members that can be bumping the pipes and I also believe there is another one near the back..

Of course none of these noises would emanate from the front of the vehicle.

Perhaps the rattle is rust bits or debris from the installer, stuck in the pipes......does it make the noise while idling?

Exclamation

Get it on a lift and check clearances.. Adjustments can be made easily..

We can't be under the car for every install...

I'm trouble shooting another install that just happened, where the installer left out the forward OEM gaskets.. Causing CEL's

So even though we do make these system as a simple bolt on.. The installer is the most important part of the process.

Question

Also, are you still running aftermarket headers??

Your threads:

As a side note, if you had issues before our exhaust install, they will be there after as well.....

Thanks

Headers are shifting the exhaust alignment... Check the pipes clearance everywhere on a level lift

Let us know how that goes...
