Default Joe-z with muffler delete

So I have the JoeZ system. Wondering what it would sound like with a muffler delete. I don't want to hack up the beautiful system so I am considering going to get the axel back (third section) of my joe z exhaust custom made to straight pipes. This would allow easy swap outs between joez mufflers to the straight pipes that I want to get fabricated. Has anyone experimented with this? Has anyone also done this with headers?(I might consider purchasing headers in a few monthes) thanks

OR just take the mufflers off, you can get a pretty good indication of how it'll sound.

Why not just buy a Borla for half the price and cut off those instead of destroying a Joe Z? Doesn't make sense since most of the cost of that system is in the mufflers.

I already have a joe z I love it. I was just saying getting the axel
Back section of the exhaust fabricated so you can switch out the sections and not have to chop up the joe z rear section

If you get a good price I say go for it but fabbing up a straight section with flanges usually are not cheap (i've inquired about this before).

Its financially cheaper to cut up a Borla and extend the rear section with welds (also saving $$ in the end) than to get a Joe Z and change it. Just IMO.

if you do it, post us vids! i'm sure it'll sound wicked. i've also contemplated removing the rear mufflers off my borla to get more noise but worried it might be a little too much bc i've already hacked off the resonator.

I'll buy your Joe Z mufflers if you choose to do this!

You don't have to butcher borla for this, just swap mufflers for straight pipes, they are connected by a clamp anyway

^ Yup.. I took the mufflers off my Borla after a week, just made some pipes to reach the tips and used the stock clamps to hold it in place.

I'll be replacing mufflers with straight pipes on my borla soon as my track mod, I'll
not be touching borla resonator, yet.

Why not make it even easier and get exhaust cutouts right before the mufflers?

At the push of a button you can bypass the mufflers and bam!, instant straight pipes
