Stock ISF wheels
Does anyone know if the stock wheels on the ISF are specific to the hub of the car? Can I put the rear right wheel on the rear left side?
I have a 2008 ISF

Yes you can - just make sure your tires are not (uni)directional.

You can, but your rims will not be "facing" the correct direction...

The spokes in the wheel are cut in a way that each wheel, due to spoke design and wheel width are corner specific.
See attached.

I bought my car used with the front two wheels facing the wrong way.. 6 months later I still haven't addressed this.. I guess I'll just wait for a need to buy new tires because making a special trip to the dealer to correct doesn't seem worthwhile.

I did not know the wheels were directional until I posted a picture here, lol. I eventually swapped them when I did an oil change.

The is-f wheels are staggered, you just can't put the rears to the front and vice versa

I remember hearing that the wheel design was to specific to help with additional inward airflow to keep the brakes cooler. Any truth to this?

None at all. The airflow is from inside the wheel well to the outside.

I dont think the 2010 + wheel design makes any difference. To be honest this is kind of splitting hairs guys

^ ^ ^ ^ You're correct on the later models, but I bet if you owned one of the early Fs you wouldn't think so
