Engine harness cover part number.
Does anyone know the part number for the wiring harness cover? Dealer broke mine and said they would have to replace the entire engine harness to get the cover.
Just to be clear "under the manifold" is completely hidden and not visible in this picture.
It can be replaced and does have a part number.
The one visible in this picture "37" is above or on top of the intake manifold and I see no listing on Sewell's diagrams.

Gotcha, I thought you were referring it the cover on top. Thanks anyway guess it will jut remain cracked because there is no way I'm having the whole engine harness replaced even though the tech broke the cover and my service advisor said if it bothered me he would have it replaced at no charge.
You're awfully nice. I would definitely be bothered by that if it were mine. Those covers are there to ensure the reliability of the harness for years to come. I'm not at all confident cracking one won't affect long term reliability, but then again, I'm the guy planning to take out his Supra in May of this year for its 21st birthday...
It's Protective Cover No. 4. Part number is 82817-30L40. Price is ~$75, $54 from Internet Lexus parts dealers. Sewell has this part, but does not show it for the IS-F. They show it for the GS460. It's Protective Cover No. 1 on the GS.

Old thread i know but does anyone happen to know the part number for the cover on top with the 37 sticker on it. I purchased my ISF and this part was already cracked.
I cant find the part number anywhere.
Ps Im based in Syd, AU. Im sure the part number would be the same here or the US but thought id mention just in case it may differ.

As many of us learned with the fuel pressure sensor recall, this piece gets extremely brittle over time and will literally fall apart in your hands when to try to remove it. I would recommend anyone with more than 60k miles or 100k km purchase this if you have to remove the intake manifold for any reason. It will be easier to finish with the part in hand.
