The O2 sensor sniffs to make sure the cat is working. The O2 sensor goes after the cats

There are o2 sensors before and after the cats. Read this for an explanation:

Even though they look the same, there are two type of sensors. The A/F ratio sensors, which come before the cats and then there are the O2 sensors, which come after the cats. They do different jobs and have different part numbers. You can disable the O2 sensors with a tune or simulator. You can't do that to the A/F ratio sensors.

Mine was installed the same time the Borla was and the shop took a total of 6 hours. My Borla was also welded together in 2 spots rather than using the clamps.

Old discussion. But far as I was aware GESI cats are pretty much the GOAT. Spendy but you get what you pay for.

Sorry to revive this thread, but I just got my PPE's installed, paired up with my borla catback system. The last time the cabin of the car smell this bad was when I was running rich on my integra on a full gutted header to catback system....don't miss it and I know my wife is going to hate it so now it's time to drop some more money on these magnaflow cats. So 2.25" is what's recommended, correct? Has anyone else used any other brand high flow cats besides random techs?

Any recommendations on where to order the MagnaFlow 59905's?

Lou, looking at the photo, you have relocated the O2 sensors behind what would regularly be secondary cats.
Does that men you did not need to run the conditioners with your headers?

^^^^No, I'm running CEL Eliminators from PPE! All stock and third party exhausts whether with cats or not have the o2 oxygen sensor in the exhaust pipe following the manifold/header. The Manifold/header has only fitting for the before sensor.

So the MagnaFlow 59905 isn't CA state legal so I'm having trouble finding a pair that will ship them to me since its "illegal" to ship this particular high flow cat to CA. Any of you have any other recommendations for a high-flo cat thats CA legal? I don't want something too restrictive but I do want to eliminate the exhaust fumes. Its fine if I leave the windows rolled up, but the smell is pretty bad if I crack my windows or when I get out of my car.
