Default Ebay side skirt extension

How do you guys feel about this cheap side skirt? I dont have the funds to buy a Toms side skirt but have been eyeballing the side skirts that other members have been using and came across this...

May be better to un-modded than to have bargain parts. IMHO. How do you like your Mugen lugs? I was thinking of getting a set of Skunk2, the real soft ones.

Don't know about the quality of CF stuff sold on ebay but.. the Tom's side skirts are basically just a flat rectangular carbon fiber piece.. as long as it fits right it'll look identical to the Tom's.

From what other 2IS guys say, these PU/plastic skirts warp over time from heat and get all wavy.

Check out AIT Racing's cf sideskirts for the 2IS:
http://www.aitracing.com/Body-Kits/B...IS-F-2006-2013
They're $425 on their site but message seller 'bodykits_store' on eBay and see what price they can give you. They're the eBay store for AIT, he hooked me up with the cf skirts and rear splitters for a great price. Just had to ask him .

Oh never thought of the plastic warping.. Makes sense especially with the i/h/e combo. Thanks for the link, going to shoot them a message.. You have any pictures?

That's actually my car on AIT's website. I've had the side skirts and rear splitters for about a year and so far no warping. I park my car outside in the SoCal sun mon-fri when I'm at work.

They were pretty straight forward to install. You will have to drill holes into the CF pieces as well as the bottom part of your stock sideskirt. You'll see where it lines up once you're underneath the car. My installer fastened everything down with nuts, bolts, and washers. I commute about 70 miles daily and so far nothing's ever come loose.
