ISF - Driver seat - SKIN replacement LEATHER
#16
Pretty sure parts of the seats are not real leather. I notice it more on my 11 than my 08 but the sides of the seat that are not perforated feel like cheap vinyl especially on the alpine interior. Wonder if the LS and GS models have the same issue?

I'm well out of warranty. The driver's side outside bolster has a small hole in it from wear. Sucks the seat covers are so pricey and the quality of the leather is so low.

Mine's an '08 with about 54k miles and black leather perforated seats. Have a tiny bit of wear on my bolsters but I've managed to minimize it by being a little more careful getting in and out of the car (not scraping it every time) and following some advice I found on here a while back about maintaing the leather. Basically, it was just to not use any treatments on it, and just place a damp towel on it now and then to rehydrate. I do that about every 6 months or so, leave it overnight, and it seems to be working.
