Factory wheels - how durable are these?
Came back last night and noticed that one of my wheels got a little nick in it.
Mind you, I don't hit curbs or anything for that matter.
So I look at my left front wheel, and there is a small chunk missing close to the center. (I can post a picture tomorrow when I get home)

So much for my pristine wheels.......
I can only guess something on the freeway hit the wheel. I clean them with the finest wheel brushes from autogeek, by hand and the car NEVER saw a car wash.
Has anyone else experienced this?
There is an exotic wheel repair shop close by, I might stop by there tomorrow.
A little disappointed though..............

If anything, I will have the wheel shop that I do trust handle this job, this is definitely not my expertise.
They fixed my Subaru STi gold wheel like new when I hit a curb one day. (moral of the story was, don't look at pretty women when you park your car next to a curb)
So attached to my car.....I washed it at 6:30 AM on New Year's day and sealed the paint.

Thanks again.
By the way, if you are in the San Francisco area and need your wheels fixed, coated etc., here is the place I HIGHLY recommend.

Lou
My F is my daily driver and it def does get wheel nicks from time to time cause factory wheels are painted and do chip. My advice is do what I did and find a good mobile wheel paint guy and when chips get too annoying for u have him come out to ur house and fix it.
