To sum up the show it wasn't anything spectacular at all. Only AMG cars were SLS and only M car was an M6 convertible. Nissan didn't even have a GTR there, only a standard 370Z. For some reason the star of the show was a new Stingray that had a line of at least 50 people waiting to sit in it. Lexus was very lame and their F-Sport 350 was their highlight. There were no concept cars or anything that wasn't already available at dealers. It was kind of like going to a Carmax that had some exotics. I got pics of a Lamborghini Aventador and matte gunmetal SLS AMG, awesome cars but seen them before. Also sad to say is that show was very family friendly and no hot girls in skimpy outfits at the display areas. Infiniti guy did try and sell me a Q60 IPL convertible for $63k that he said had "insane" 343hp. Funny thing is that my father in law who is a devoted BMW man is probably gonna buy the IPL Infiniti after I sent him the pic of it, he loved it.

What a horrible show it was indeed! No gtr really let me down the most. And roping off the 80k$ Maserati's, give me a break. I did enjoy the F12 though!

 

Yea the F12 was really sick. I should have known the show was gonna suck when I saw very excited people lined up for the Kia test drive experience

 

Lol your assessment is spot on, we walked up and they asked if we'd like to test drive a Kia. I almost laughed in her face.

 

Thats because all the good cars were at the LA Auto Show! haha.

And Auto shows are vastly different than Car shows.. Auto Shows are family friendly and corporate sponsored with major budgets and lots of professionalism. Car shows are everything but.
