Shooting Flames??

I think if we had a single exit exhaust with no cats we could definitely get some flames. With a dual exhaust and cats its much harder. I definitely hear my exhaust popping too.

you can really only shoot flames if you had a straight exhaust. Catless, no resonator, and a straight through exhaust. Maybe even headers to free up breathing room in the exhaust. Anything shy of that, you are really not gonna see any flames, just smoke.
BUT if you are shooting flames, it usually means your car is running super rich which is not always good. Looks cool but no bueno

It occurs also when upshifting manually and you hit the rev limit. When you hit redline, I believe there is no spark so the exhaust gets full of fuel and explodes. FWIW, I'm catless and have been told when I do that little redline thing, I crap out fireballs out of my exhaust. I've never seen it myself because I'm the one driving. But maybe I'll see if I can record it LOL.
