Question PPE Headers installed without Module

Hi guys, ok as some of you might already know I installed PPE Headers on my car a week back.

Now when I went to pick up the car, the installer handed me back the small module that PPE provides with the headers (pictured below) and he told me he didn't install the module because the last time he installed it on an ISF it threw a CEL.

So he somehow wired it without using the module provided by PPE.

The car has been runing fine ever since the install, no CELs have shown and I don't seem to have any problems.

I've driven the car now over 1,000km with no issues.

But now I want to know how can somone install the headers without having to use the module?

(He told me our cars in the middle east "could" be different to those in the USA and so don't need this module to run without any fault codes.

Can anyone shine any light on this and how he might have gone about installing the headers without this module?

Could it be that because I'm using the stock exhaust that I'm not throwing any codes?

EDIT: Yes they are a Vendor On Here. My Bad...

But I do know when I had issues with my header install I gave them a call and they were able to help figure out my issue. My installer needed to find a better power source for the module and with a weak power source or without the module my would throw CELS for O2 sensor. Good luck with your find bro!

It is possible that your country doesn't have as strict of emissions regulations as we do in the US. If this is the case, it is a possibility that the computer is not monitoring the catalytic converters and would not need the O2 Conditioner.

If your car is not throwing a cel code, I would just keep going without worrying about it. The O2 conditioner is only to keep the CEL off for not having the cats in place.

I bet it won't. All the narrowband sensor is doing is checking catalytic converter efficiency. I doubt it's an issue in the Middle East. It is an issue here because the EPA makes it one.

any one has update on this EGO Sensor Conditioner?

I am in the process of looking an installer for my PPE on my 08 ISF....
I also would lke to know if I need this Module to be installed as well. I have a full Borla Exhaust as well

TN does not have Emission test; but due to I am in military, i might end up station in a State that will required Emission test annually....

any input will be helpful! thanks!

Being in the military has some advantages, this should not be a worry for you. Just keep your registration in your home state and don't become a resident of the place they station you.

you are right about that.... However I just want to be sure it's done correctly, consider if I have to sell my F one day. I want to make sure the next buyer or friend are not going to run into any issue with the Emission.

So i guess my question is: does most people have PPE headers have this module installed as well?
and
This just a module to 'fool' the emission program to pass the test right? does it effect any hp at all?
