Default WA state adopted CA emissions tests on 2009+ vehicles

Apparently WA state has adopted CA's emissions standards for vehicles 2009 and newer. Because I am buying a 2011 IS-F from another state and bringing it to WA state, I'm assuming, from reading this thread, this means it must pass everything and then some just like in Cali. Can someone look at this "passing" emissions test from Illinois to see if it would pass the CA / WA state test ?

Do you have the sniffer test data? CA tests require HC, CO, etc via a sniffer device in the tailpipe.

And not sure about "Oxygen Sensor: Not Ready" and anything else that might be an instafail.

Why are you concerned about the stock cats?

just curious of when the actual stock cats failing

had my smog test yesterday. No inspection of the exhaust system. Just plugged the obd 2 reader and I passed. I think getting away with headers might be easier than I thought (as long as there is no check engine light)

My 25 year old cats on my Supra passed their last smog check with flying colors. Don't run crap oil. Don't run crap gas. Cats last a very long time.

Welp passed with the RR borla bazooka exhaust. They just looked under hood and ran the OBD. The techs did mention how nice my car sounded and said they liked the exhaust lol

+1...my smog inspection only consisted of the guy looking at my engine bay and plugged in the OBD 2 reader. I was in and out in less than 15min. I'm even more convinced that if headers and exhaust will pass if you don't have a check engine light.

Hello all, I am looking for a ISF, possibly out of state. I live in California.
Are all ISF's 50 state smog rated, good for Ca. I would imagine Lexus would make them all Ca compatible, but does anyone know for sure?

Thanks.

All cars on sale (US spec) in the entire United States are 50 states compliant. Obviously, in stock form, with no aftermarket modifications. I bought a car out of California as well.

Thanks, I thought there were some years/some manufacturers made some non california compliant cars.

There might have been some diesel models in the past, definitely not the case with ISF

Yes, that was back in the 70s and maybe into the 80s, but not recently.

I would advise to check the status of your vehicle a day or so prior to doing the smog check. Sometimes a CEL or code will appear and it will need to be addressed and cleared prior to the smog test itself. I can safely say, headers + exhaust + intake + (tune, if chosen) should easily pass the electronic side. Visual, on the other hand, is at the sole discretion of the technician.

Best of luck should you decide to venture west!
THIS! IS WHAT I NEEDED TO KNOW!

exhaust leak is getting worse and worse. going PPE>high flows>x force and was concerned about it. but im assuming it needs the provided "simulators"/conditioners for the sensors.
visual isnt an issue thank goodness.
