I usually do have it in the garage(80% of the time) but not that night. The neighborhood is not bad at all, its in South Miami.

I think we all feel your pain! Hopefully they didn't damage anything else or mess with the body of the car. I have seen some jacks where the car wasn't on blocks or the body was all dented and scratched.

Holy crap I just drove through Miami two days ago! Glad I didn't stop.

Seriously though, I hope you're able to get them back or replace them with something you enjoy even more (perhaps with some added security.)

I read an old thread here a while back where a member had his wheels stolen, found them on CL at a pawn shop, worked with the police and was able to confirm they were his via a Lexus dealer and TPMS.

Time to get a firearm, a custom alarm and perhaps some wireless cameras.

I would personally have no mercy for folks like that if I caught them in the act.

For the few of you that have suggested that he get a firearm... remember, you can't use deadly force (a gun) to protect your property unless the thief has somehow put you in fear of imminent bodily harm. This means, if your car is parked outside on the street and you are inside your house and happen to see the theft in progress, you can't pull out a gun and start shooting.

Now if someone enters your home to steal or tries to carjack you, different story.

I woke up in college to my car like that... atleast they didn't leave your car on the rotors! Sucks regardless that you can't own anything nice these days. Hope you're able to locate them soon!
