interesting question
so i was trying to think about pricing on some 2008's.....and i had a question.
hypothetically, how much would you be willing to pay to roll back your odomoter 12,000 miles, if at all?
$500, $1000, $1500?
just curious......
edit: i should prob clarify, ha. i was asking this because i'm deciding between an 08 with 40k miles and many others which are mostly around 55k. and was just trying to look at the difference in prices from another perspective....the average difference tends to be about 1400ish. mannheim auctions for week ending may 20th for an 08 with 40.5k miles is right around $36k

yeh you are right, apologies all for sounding shady! i prob should not have phrased the q like that.
i honestly didn't even think it was possible to do such a thing in modern day cars with digital odometers.
but anyways, yeh i think lower miles is the way to go too, as long as the premium isn't thousands of $'s.
in any event, if all goes well i should hopefully be picking one up either friday or saturday next week!
CUtiger, maybe we can go for a cruise. i know a good loop south of atlanta with a couple nice turns, a couple open straights, and a short tunnel underneath the runway.....then if you want i can turn back your odometer, lulz
