new wheels less power?
i just installed a set of 20x11R and 10x9F i also installed a issforged des exhaust system same time i took my car out for a test drive and it doesnt seem to have the same push it used to . could this be something wrong with my car or are the wheels to blame they are 3 piece forged nutek wheels
Unsprung weight is even worse than "sprung" weight. Adding 50lbs of weight at your wheels and tires will make you feel slower than if you added a 50lb kid to your passenger seat. The stock wheels and tires are surely lighter than whatever wheels you just added.
does anyone know if linea corse 19x10 with falken 452 255/275 are a lot heavier then stock ?

That's why I did not go with the 3 pc Nuteks. I went with 1 piece forged monoblocs. I have 20s but they are lighter than stock. With the wheel and tire combo, I probably added like just 5 lbs each side in the rear. I matched the stock front wheel and tire weight.
20's are probably heavier, also what tire size are you running. Are you still at 26" outer diameter? If you are bigger you have changed the finial drive ratio and that will also slow you down.
If some of the things people are mentioning above are true, the weight/size of the wheels could be such that it offsets the 20+whp gains from the exhaust installed at the same time. Major bummer. For fun you should slap on the stock wheels for a quick test drive and you'll have your answer.
yep, bumping up your tires making your overall wheel/tire set up heavier will affect throttle and feel, wont affect overall power at wide open throttle though. I got my wheels to be lighter up front by 9 lbs each up front and 7 lbs rear and car feels very nimble, throttle response is drastically better.
