Default DR Setup

Purchased 17x9 38 offset wheels, with 275 40 17 Nitto NT05r tires. I hope to try them out next week!

I don't think those will clear the brakes.

Not sure if the Wheels will fit, but good job on the tire choice. Best DR on the market right now

Fit just fine

Hope to try them out next week. I doubt I'm going to "break" them in properly... as in huge burnout followed by elevating the rears for a few days like I've read suggested.

Bought off ebay from discount tire, I was surprised as I purchased them in separate auctions that they mounted and balanced them prior to shipping!! Total cost 686 dollars shipped.

Hope I've helped a few who are looking into rims, I will weight the two later. I believe it was DV8 who gave me the best tire size from another thread, so thank you!

Ya, I would say so. The R888 is a great tire, but doesn't give the same levels of straight line traction as the NTO5R. They work well for awd applications, but I have yet to see them come anywhere near a DR for RWD cars.

Have you tried an R888 setup on the F? I was thinking about getting a set for road racing.
