Default SPC Alignment products

With my coilovers on there way and already needing a front camber kit with swift springs, I started looking around. I ran into SPC adjustable ball joints for the front and SPC adjustable control arm Camber arms in the rear... I didnt even know there was a camber kit out for the rear, other than Figs mega arms. I picked up the front ball joints from autoplicity.com and didn't purchase but found the rear camber arms through thmotorsports.com for 118 each. So all said and done you could have a compete front/rear camber kit for you IS series for just under 400 bucks. Thought I would share.

Haha, funny how that happens. When I got aligned after the swift spring drop my rear toe was out a tiny bit but easily corrected via standard adjustments. All other rear settings were perfect. The front camber on the other hand is still out -2.6 driver and -1.7 passenger. Thinking about ordering the rears so after I get corner balanced I could run like negative 1 or 1.5 all the way around. Running 180 treadwear tires i think il go threw the tread before i ever wear out a edge of a tire.

So if I'm reading this correctly, no camber arms are needed in the rear on the swift springs unless you want to run MORE camber, correct?

just installed my bcs as well and im thinking of ordering the ball joints myself. same thing with me, tein springs, rear alignment was perfect, wore so evenly. the front on the other hand was really bad.

the reason why i held off buying the front spc kit, i really do think the bushing is what cause the tire wear, but not sure if i want to put on FIGS bushing for extra NVH.

Correct, toe and go in the rear. You will need camber ball joints up front and odds are even if you max out their adjustable you will still have a degree or so.

My driver side is out -2.7 the ball joint is good for +/-1.5... leaving me with -1.2 in the front with the ball joint maxed out. They do offer a different bolt I think that allows the balljoint to range from +/-1.5 to 3.0. Being that it out so much from being lowered i probably should have gotten that set up

If you wanna pick up Swift springs used pm me, they have been on my car for maybe 3000 miles, fair price just gotta wait a few weeks till my BC's come in.

^^^ Do you need both the adjustable toe arm and camber arm? Or can you just get the camber arm if your happy with your toe? Will adjusting camber, make adjusting the toe more necessary?

Everytime you switch out any suspension part or even tamper with the suspension such as raising the height or adjusting camber, you need an alignment. All suspension parts are linked together and when one part changes or moves, toe will change.

I have both SPC products installed and they allowed me to get the alignment right where I wanted it (I'm on BC's with Swifts). So far so good.
