Hello I just need some peoples' opinions. I'm in the market for an ISF. I really like the white ISF and currently there are 3 possible options.

1. 2008 SGM black int. with 20,XXX KMs - $38,000
2. 2008 MM black int. with 60,XXX KMs - $35,000
- HKS Exhaust
3. 2010 SFP Terra cotta/black int. with 52,XXX KMs

Only problem with the SFP is that it's a lease takeover. He wants 10k from me to take over and 12 months worth of payments @ $835 then buyout at the end is $23,000. He seems very willing to move on the amount that i pay him but still i don't know if it's a good deal since i'm paying for his previous payments... Is this a normal occurrence? Talked to him earlier and there were some scratches on the front end too.

With that being said, can some of you help me decide if option 3 is an OK choice or to look in to the other two cars or wait a bit longer hoping that more white ones will pop up. I'm in canada so sadly there aren't many to choose from.

HKS exhaust is worth over 3K, probably more to get it to Alberta so some good value there, for sure

2010 has LSD, improved suspension and different dash gauges that the other 2 cars don't and I think it had HDD audio added as well.

I personally hate lease take overs and 35K is a good price for a car with less than 20K on it and an HKS exhaust.

A lot of people on here will not be able to relate to your pricing, as there is such a huge difference between cost of living and car pricing in Canada, than the USA.

As both 2008 cars are early Canadian cars check for some other differences - some early cars did not have ML audio and parking sensors - these cars are typically called Series 1 and cars that included these features were called Series 2...but some series 2 cars only had ML audio. I know it's confusing, but the way it was early on. These will effect the values and give you some wiggle room if they are not equipped.

I love the SGM color but the HKS exhaust on the MM looks like your best buy, but if money is no object......also check in Calgary as they usually have lots for sale, or even Vancouver and drive it home.

My bad, the HKS exhaust is on the MM car... added it to the wrong one haha.

Thanks for the tips tho i'll make sure to see if the cars have parking sensors. I know the SGM is a series 2 but not sure if it has sensors.

If only the white one wasn't a lease takeover .

I'm leaning most towards the white one because i love the white but might give it up for the low km SGM.

Thanks for the opinions! I guess I just need to know if lease takeover is a good idea or not...

The first one gets my pick. SGM, now a discontinued color, is really nice. Not as hard to maintain as Obsidian, but looks amazing. I'd also add that the LSD will probably have the biggest impact on this decision. I've driven both an 08 and an 11, and I must say, that LSD does make the car greater. Best of luck in your decision, but definitely see what you absolutely need among these three or even other F's that you might find for sale.

I prefer the 2008 MM w/ HKS exhaust which by the way is a very pricey exhaust. Only thing is it has quite a bit of KMs compare to the other Fs. It is a lexus which mean it's good reliability wise. As long as you properly maintain it in a timely manner you should be OK. Ask for the maintenance history. 2nd choice would be the SGM lower KMs but $3k more expensive without exhaust. Ask yourself, were you planning on putting exhaust on your F? if not, then go for SGM. regardless of what you choose, please post some pix. Good luck.
