You will not be disappointed with the Borla catback...best bang for the buck you can get with the ISF. $900 gets you 20+whp and it is very easy to install in your garage. It sounds mean as hell, but is very drivable. The JoeZ exhaust sounds fantastic, but is a little too loud for my tastes for the times I want to idle around/commute (70 percent of the time)...of course that is very subjective and each person must find what is right for them.

All these comments about the Joe-Z is making me think twice.

I was under the impression that the Joe-Z exhaust was subtle (before headers) and slightly louder with headers.

But now I'm wondering does the Joe-Z exhaust + header combo = Drone?

And how loud can the car be at idle with the above setup? I'm sure it can't be too obnoxious?

the joe Z is quiet to me. it's really subtle IMO. it drones more in videos i've seen than now when i have it installed. this exhaust has resonators and mufflers. it wouldn't even consider it loud.

Thanks for the feedback ISFPOWER, do you have headers installed as well?

and I agree I never really take internet video's of exhausts as a good comparison on how it'll sound in real life.

What are the HP gains on the full Borla? I am thinking about doing headers, intake, and exhaust all at once but I want to figure out which brands produce the most HP or are they all the same?

like mentioned above, Joe Z sounds great (i have received many compliments) but it's little too loud for me. sometimes i feel annoyed to step on the gas when passing. Definitely not subtle if you ask me, but i can understand this is subjective. nice rumble on the start up, great head turner, but 60+ miles commute probably got to me. if i had a fund, i would gone something along the line of HKS.

I have the borla and love it. It's not as loud as the joe z but it's deeper sounding in my opinion. The hks axel back has a distinct sound as well and it's a bit quieter than the borla.

I passed the age of having a loud exhuast.... so when I was aiming to put on an exhaust system that's 'quiet' and still give me fair horsepower gain. After listen to exhaust videos on youtube over and over and over and over again lol ... i went with Borla; and i am happy about my choice.

I never get the chance to listen to JoeZ's in person tho.
