My PPE header install

I am firmly in the camp that thinks the way your car sounds with the headers and no mufflers (that last set of vids) sounds awful, at least for a car that you will daily or semi-daily. I couldn't stand that for more than a few minutes.
I'm sure the PPE/Joe-Z combo will make you happy. I've heard it personally and it sounds mean as hell when you get on it, but reasonable when you're idling or driving around town.

Man, just found the Borla for $880 delivered. Soo tempting at half the price of the Joe Z...just don't want to be upset if it's too quiet for me, although the wife will love it. I'm 35 and daily drive the car and I too have people in and out of the car plus a 9 month old baby and a 4 year old, but 90% of the time I'm by myself.
I have a Borla and I'll be getting PPE headers installed within the next week, and I'm going to drive around with that setup for a few weeks and see how I like it. If it's loud enough then I'll leave it, but I'm seriously thinking about the cutouts. I love a mean sounding car, but I wouldn't want to drive with one that sounds like that (in your videos) on a daily basis. Some old school cut outs could be just the ticket!
Here is the kit I'm looking at getting: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/qt...50cp/overview/
It will sound like this:
