Thanks I thought I did. It has all the usual options plus parking sensor and dual headrest DVD for the kids. I have a 2006 E46 M3 that I've been driving. Nicely modded. But with two kids I've been looking for a 4 door. It came down to E90 M3 or the ISF. This was a deal I couldn't pass up.

I still have my M3. The M3 is more fun to drive. The ISF is a completely different machine. It's fun in its own way.

 

Absolutely, except you don't have to spend as much in maintaining the IS-F, I got rid of an E65 & still spending on an E86. Except for the cheaper-feeling plastic material used in the IS-F, I have yet to look back.

 

Only disappointing thing is. The Lexus certified program is not like the BMW certified. It's 3 years from date of sale. BMW certified adds 2 years and extends to 100k miles onto the original warranty. For instance when I bought my m3. It had a little over a year left of the original warranty and once it expired the 2 year/100k certified kicked in. This Lexus is certified but its a 2012 with about 3 years of original warranty left. The certified begins at the date of sale. The only advantage is that it extends the miles out to 100k. But I won't put that kind of miles on the ISF. Especially with me splitting time between the M3 and the ISF.

 

^You have other warranty options other than the Certified program, if you want the car to be covered longer. I would agree that buying a "certified" used ISF is nowhere near as important as buying a certified used BMW.
