Default Shift ****: does yours spin? Is it supposed to?

As title says

Could someone check? Going to dealer tomorrow for a piece of loose trim in front of rear drivers side wheel and would get **** fixed too!

Can someone help with my ****????

It does not spin - it does screw on and off - and it tightens up substantially when it gets near the end and in the correct position

I've wondered if that was normal, i can move mine left or right really easily

yes it can be turned, but it won't come off. found mine had been spun 180° one day, my kid thought it looked 'cooler' that way..

Mine spins, left and right. I think thats normal and nothing to stress about.
