ISF12 vs wrx sti 01???
So I had I very interesting day yesterday I came to my Cousin house and we where out side just talking . A blue Subaru wrx sti rolled up and like nice car ect...
Got out of the car and took out $500 and said let me know when I live down the block ,
I asked to pop his hood he said no and he seemed very cocky and sure he could beat me .
The Catch was only "from a roll " he did not wanna do off line 1/4 mile .
So idk I mean our cars are fast but What could he really beat me or just blowing smoke why would be wanna do roll it's awd would have thought that's he would get a better take off compared to me if he's packing power ?
From what I was told by my cousin he's a good driver but knows nothing about the car.
Would like opinion of why only would from a roll and 2001 wrx sti and who would win in your opinion

Not to be mean, but you've not told us enough to make any sort of decision.
My previous car was an STi and faster than most ISFs. You could be in for a world of hurt. My car was a mid 11's car. Problem was that I'm not a good drag racer.
As far as racing from a roll, a perfect AWD launch from 0mph is something awesome. The problem is that its hard to get right. That and it often puts all sorts of strain on the drivetrain. I've known plenty of people that snapped half shafts in STis when they launched too hard.

This guy has a serious advantage on you. He has much more tunning capabilities than the F. So he could be sitting with a lot more whp than you. So heres how you win. Make him agree that you get to pick the gear you roll from but then say you will tell him only after he puts down the 500. Make sure your cousin has the money in hand. Pick 8th gear
