Default 08-09 wheels or 2012-2013 wheels

So wanted to get some opinions. I've always like the 09 wheels but the new ones are growing on me. I might trade my 09 for a 12 and i might want to keep the 09 wheels for the 12. I know the 12 wheels are wider but makes no difference because both tire sizes are the same. I guess with a 9.5 u can put a 285 on it. Thoughts?

The newer wheels look really good, but I'm partial with my '08-'09 wheels. The blade design with the first set of IS F wheels is hard to beat as a factory set IMO. I only wish it had been made wider at the time, which is why I'm contemplating getting wheels this year. With the newer ones having a 9.5 width in the rear, one can surely push it to fit 295 tires. It's not optimal, but I have seen it done.

In term of looks alone the 08-10 rims look way cooler. As to getting a 285 on a 9.5 rim you might want to think twice about that...

That rim is not for normal ISF in the states , that sharpen blades edges are Neiman Marcus made special 50 ISF's only in the USA. Those members who are from Canada and Guam also getting those rims so far from 08-12 lolz.

I like the '12 wheels better than the 08-10 blades, and the 08-10 blades much better than that spiderweb looking wheel they came out with for '11.

I am a big fan of aftermarket wheels though, specifically Volks, so that's the route I went with. But I think the 2012+ ISF wheels are some of the best looking factory wheels on any car today.

I agree that that 12's are the best looking, so if you need someone to trade out rims with... *cough* lol
or just switch rims when you trade it in, i don't think they would mind.

Get a 2012 and then trade with me for my 2008 wheels...I'll even throw in a small kicker to sweeten the deal.

Blades were 08-09 and spider webs were 10-11

They made a very good comeback with the 2012 wheels, i like them. But those 10-11 wheels are ugly lol.

10-11 and 12 wheel styles are both derivatives of old, common wheel designs.

The 08-09 is uniqely and exclusively an ISF design.

i like that design too, i actually like all the designs. Props to lexus for not making ugly wheels for this premium IS. but no props for the widths and offsets.

I'm with you ISFPOWER! A wider wheel is definitely something that I wish the F had when it was first created. This is why shopping for a good wheel design with the widths and offsets I'd ideally want is so difficult. But all wheel designs look quite unique on the F.
