Default Fastest 0-60!

Today was a cold day (about 50 degrees) and the pressure was 30.2 inches and 27 degrees was the dew point which makes my DA about -800. I decided to do some 0-60 runs by my house and I got several 4.0 seconds. My Vbox does NOT have a rollout enabled so this is ACTUAL 0-60. With rollout, I'm guessing I'm more like 3.8 seconds.

My mods are PPE headers and Borla catback and about 160 pounds lighter than stock.

Actually, it was quite difficult! This is on the street without VHT and burning out. LOL... Having said that, I never know when I'm going drag racing so in Oct and Nov, I drive around in Mickey Thompson drag radials.

I use them up because after a few years, they get old and the rubber starts to rot so might as well use them up before winter. This is the 5th year and probably the last year for the Mickeys.

I believe it. Hooking up the IS-F is easily in the sub 4's or high 3's.

I am definitely surprise if that turns out to be relatively accurate. Good job.

Not surprising. A stock IS350 can get sub-5 (0 to 60 in 4.9), and a modded ISF is quite a bit quicker to 60. A full second quicker to 60 given your modifications seems quite reasonable.

40 lbs for 18" winter wheels
20 lbs Figs 2 pc rotors
40 lbs lithium battery
40 lbs spare tire/jack
10 lbs borla cat back
10 lbs engine covers and rugs in the trunk

Keep in mind I usually run 1/4 tank

I'm thinking that the car's actual weight is in the 35xx range. I'm doing coilovers soon which will drop me another 10 and I personally lost 25 lbs since I ran my 12.3@115 2 years ago. LOL

Sounds about right to me! High 3's with a bit cooler temp and traction for sure! Keep us posted on your quest for 11's tomorrow at the strip.

A little preview of what's to come... I already ran a 11.998 yesterday (I couldn't help myself)... but based on temps and condtions, I already know I'm not going to hit 11.90x unless somehow I unload another 100 pounds or I end up with some super heroic run or the temps drop down to 35 (it was 50 yesterday). And that's with a HEROIC 1.83x 60'

FWIW, I ran a 3.8 0-60 today with a 1 foot rollout. The main difference being that the first 10 mph took .4 seconds vs. .6 seconds w/o rollout.

This all seems to make sense because .2 in the first 60' is about .4 in the quarter and yesterday my Vbox was reading 12.3 when I ran 11.99 and 12.4 when I ran 12.0

I turned on the 1 foot rollout from now on to check the VBOX for tomorrow.

Almost all my traps were 116.xx. 5-10 mph headwind, 50 degrees, 37 dew point, 30.2 inches. All my 60' were 1.83-1.87 and my 1/8 were 92-93.x. After tomorrow, I'll post my results of the weekend. Meanwhile, I'm going to the garage and emptying my windshield wiper fluid. Seriously...
