My windshield looks like it's been through a sand storm. Tiny chips all over it. Same with the clearcoat on the paint. Driving at the track can be cruel to your car.

OEM glass from Sewell is $692.95 with the CL discount. Not the cheapest, but a great price for OEM glass.

 

Lexus use's a 3 ply glass, 1 ply is for uv protection,1to reduce noise into the cabin and lastly the glass itself,oh yeah 692.95 for a isf ome windsheild is a hella of a price,i did a 2013 rx a day ago for $1309, just for the windsheild and that's after a discount

 

I had the same issue. Plenty of chips and pits on both of my cars, I had a mobile repair shop come out to swap rearview mirrors for me, and they can't be repaired unless they are actual cracks. Guess I will deal for now.

 

Yeah I swung by the dealership and they told me its too shallow to fix, so guess I will live with it for now

 

I called them for a chip I had on my M3. Looked perfect....

 

just got a spatter with multiple shallow chips a few days ago. dealership uses ryan's auto glass, so will see what they say monday. used safelite in the past and it looked terrible...
