Default wheel fitment question

Yes another one! However, this is important and I need to get a good idea. I havent seen anyone run this spec in the rear, wheels are 20x10.5 +38. fenders are rolled flat, stock 09 rear ride height. Will this rub and what are my best tire size options?

i think you will rub the rear bumper and fender every time you hit a dip and go up driveways etc. i'm running 9.5 in the rear with 275 on stock suspension and it rubs all the time. i'm also on negative 3.6 camber in the rear. my front tires rubs my fender well when clock my tires mid to full way.

Go a little higher with the offset for the rear. I have 10.5 +45 with 285s, fenders rolled flat and no rubbing.

agreed +43 would be perfect if you go with a 285/25R.

I'm running a 275/30R in the rear and it rubs over big dips and going up driveways at high angle. I am also lowered

I rubbed at stock height with a 255 width tire in the rear (stock sizes) on a 19x9.5 +29 offset. It wasn't bad rubbing... only over big dips, up driveways, etc, but it was enough, plus the sharp edge of the inside of the fender was shaving into my tire on one side, so I had to get it changed. I have the fender rolled flat now (but no pull) and no rubbing at all anymore. As long as I stay at stock height in the rear, and get a tire with a more square setup than the Potenza RE050A, I think I can get a 265 or 275 back there without any issues.

+45 would be perfect, however I found a used set with these specs and thought I'd see what you guys had experience with. Seems like +43 on a 10.5 seems to be about as aggressive as it gets unless you want to pull and/or stretch the tires, which I don't. My other concern is rear caliper clearance so the issues are two fold. Anyone else with input please don't hesitate, appreciate everyone's input.
