Default Any lowered 2012 models out there?

I'm doing this on behalf of Juanca who had purchased some Swift springs for his 2012. They don't fit. Has anyone, who owns a 2012, lowered their car on any brand of springs or coilovers? We'd be interested in learning what works if anything.

Thanks PhiDeltBee!

As I said on the other thread, I went to the dealer's parts department with the tech guy and supervisor trying to understand why these Swift springs didn't fit my car, that is when we found out that part numbers have changed from previous years. I've been trying to find online current part numbers or suspension diagrams myself but no luck yet, all I can find is pre-2012. From the diagram below (2011 ISF) I can tell you that my strut (#6), spring insulator (#12), and spring (#11) look different. The actual spring is what surprised me the most, noticeably smaller than the Swift (or previous years ISF).

Given that these parts are different on the 2012 ISF, I don't know if any current coilover would work either.

as long as the overall length of the strut is the same coilovers should work.

Part numbers changed from 2011 to 2012 but I have no idea about dimensions:

2011 Suspension:

2012 Suspension:

According to this thread (I didn't see it before) there were many changes on the 2012.

Looks like a Spring and Perch change. between 2011 and 2012. The 2011 has a spring retaining isolation perch and the 2012 appears to allow the spring to float which would not restrict the rotation of the spring during cycle.

Major difference seems to be the front though. From illustrations they look to be same reduction coil windings, just a much shorter overall stroke. Everything up from that looks identical.

Would the KW V3 for the '08-'11 models fit my '12 then?

Yes there is no change to the chassis mount points so a coilover replaces the whole shock assembly. KW reuses the factory hats which remain the same accross all years.
