Default New Front window time :) with Tint

Took the shop forever to get my window tinted and put in. And they broke the Window Trim pieces. So another 60 out of my pocket.

Enjoy the pics

^^^ exactly what I was thinking. I would not pay for a service where something was broken in the process by the person doing the job.

Those front windshield trim pieces are a one time use.... They are designed to break when removed..... So blame Lexus, not yr window tint guy. I found this out when I had my front windshield replaced due to a crack...

Yep 50% Tint. But it helps so much. Keeps the car much cooler in the summer.

No cracks in the window. Just easier to tint when its out of the car. So i bought a new Window and get it tinted at the same time.

No way on the OEM window. Its close to $1000 Bucks

I got this window tinted and installed for $250. Its a Pilkington window. Have them on all my other cars. So far so good.

pilkington window on my is350 made the ML stereo center channel sound different, my case for the insureance and sure enough a OEM glass was put on a week later.

Lookin good
When I bought my IS250 that piece was stuck on with dumdum. I had the dealer replace it before I took the car.
When I bought the F I got lucky since it had the 3M Crystalline Automotive Window Film already installed. This is a great product the rejects the heat and UV from the sun, reduces glare and is completely clear.
Works out well for me especially since tinted windshields are a big No in MA. Recomended for anyone who wants the befits of tint but can't pass state inspection with it.

I've had all the windshields tinted on my last 10 or so cars and this is a first that i heard of taking it out to tint?I've been using the same tint guy for almost 20 years and he has been nothing but flawless on every one of my rides.
