Debadging question
I would like to remove the "IS" permanently from the trunk of the car. It doesn't do anything for me and I don't like chrome. My question is, for those of you who have debadged/removed the "IS" on a 2011 ISF, are there holes anywhere pre-drilled into the trunk? I haven't gotten a clear answer on this. A few said "I think so" or "I'm not sure". Does anyone know for certain if there are holes or not behind the "IS" on a 2011 ISF?

^^^ I have heard though that there are holes - that's why I was trying to make sure. I would "assume" it would be the same as a ISx50 - but we all know what happens when you assume...

From the Black Chrome Emblem Replacements ive seen online, it looks to be only double sided tape holding the "IS" in place??? Not sure bro??? But post pics when your done so we have an idea of what a debaged "IS" F looks like

^^^ Thanx! I was searching keyword "badge" "debadge" "trunk holes" - low and behold it was under emblem! A little hidden
...So YES, there are holes and the "I" and the "F" have tabs - the "LEXUS" emblem also has tabs

Just get rid of the S. Its going to look better with only I F. lol
I can confirm that you will have a hole. I shaved mine. Another option I've seen some members on here do is use the touch up paint on paper then cutting it out with a hole puncher and sticking it on the trunk over the holes.
