Default ISF Fuel Pressure?

Ive been in contact with Zex for the Nos kit but the service rep wants to know the fuel pressure for the jetting? How is this relevant? Im not exactly sure of the install and jetting procedure. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Typically they want to make sure the fuel pressure is adequate to support the nitrous. If not, they will probably recommend extra parts to boost the fuel pressure when the nitrous is activated. You should probably talk one-on-one with some of the guys here that ran nitrous to see if they had to make any adjustments to the fuel. That's my guess though on why they are asking.

The ISF fuel pump is more than adequate to handle a 100 shot which is all you'll be able to do without successfully retarding engine timing. If you do decide to go over 100 shot that involves a dedicated race gas fuel tank etc etc... If your fuel pump isn't powerful enough you could run lean which is quite dangerous. Even with 125 shot and the stock fuel pump I was running slightly rich (which is good). The jets that come with the kit accomodate anywhere from 75 shot to 125 shot . You can always order different jets (what i did) to fine tune the setup. You are talking about the V8 EFI Wet kit correct? You might want a fuel filter...

The fuel pressure is going to depend on where you getting the fuel from. I have been able to run a 175shot through the port fuel rails without a problem. The setup still has the ability to run rich so im sure its no where near maxing out. If your going to be tapping from the port fuel rails, I would tell him to make a base jet setup deriving from a 55psi fuel setup. Every calculator I have used brings me somewhere in the 10.8-11.5 range using a 55psi fuel calculation. From there, its best if you further tune the setup yourself.
