I'm thinking about wrapping my roof with the 3m vinyl. either black carbon fiber or
gloss black...need help deciding..and was wondering if anyone on the forum has done this..

carbon fiber looks pretty darn nice!

 

I got clear wrap on mine - my roommate got matte black on his hood - we both got it done hre in Cali so I dont know how your NY weather might affect it - but it came out awesome - do it!!!

my carbon fiber roof spoiler just came in..thinking I want to do the carbon fiber black 3m wrap on my roof...and smoke the tailights as well..probably next week.
any maintenance issues with the wrap....car wash issues...will it come off clean or damage the paint if I want to remove it. My F stays in the garage when the weather doesn't cooperate so no worries with that.

 

i wash it like im normally washing my car. no issues at all. it will only damage the paint if its a cheap company making the wrap material

 

I bought mine used with a full Matte black wrap. It's pretty cool and a pretty good attention grabber. Wiill prolly take it off soon.

Did mine in clear (not 3M) six months ago and still love it.

 

The guys with the clear wrap, what portions did you actually wrap?

 

I wrapped my f with the 3m 1080 black carbon fiber on the roof.
