Definitely isn't for everyone...but I think everyone would be happy with just the mufflers off and leave the resonator. Removing the resonator is fun though...

Does anyone have any sound clips of just the resonators removed? I would imagine it would get a little raspy....

The only issue I see is, this may have an effect on resale value in the long run when permanently modifying the exhaust

You just cut everything off....keep it...when you're ready to resell...go back to a muffler shop and have it welded back on....no big deal...LOL

Or how about creating a muffler leak with some washers in between the muffler bolts?

You would have some sweet sounds then. lol

VJ you should def do this to your car. It sounds really good and then you will actually have a mod done to your car besides the license plate frame lmao.

One of my best friends just bought an ISF yesterday in Dallas with this mod and it sounds SICK/NASTY/BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I'll probably do it to mine soon.

I removed both the mufflers and resonator on my car as well...All 4 cats are still in place though.
That would be me! Best $60 mod I've ever purchased!

I can't actually feel any more power with the ole butt-dyno, but this thing surely sounds like an indy car at 5k and up. Also received many compliments on the sound.

BTW, this is just a temporary mod until I recieve my headers and catback exhaust.. Just couldn't wait to start making some noise!

I think you can find some clips online with just the mufflers removed...

I had the mufflers removed before...wanted more noise, so that's when I removed the resonators
