Default Swift Spring install question

I just received my set of swift springs from VIP, thanks for the quick shipment btw. Great customer service. My original plan was to install only the fronts and keep the rears oem. Then I came across a older thread with someone stating they had swift springs installed all the way around and there was not a difference in height in the rear from oem height.

I have my rear exactly where I want it but if swift's do not lower the rear from oem spec it would make sense to install something that I paid for. Plus the idea of having mismatch if I were to decide not to install would always eat at me. Just the way I am.

So does anyone have swift springs installed? Did the height change in the rear after install? If so how much? Thanks for everyone's help

congratz on the purchase of ur springs. i read the specs pdf for our car and it looks like it is listed as 1" drop in the front and .6" drop in the rear. I'm sure you will be happy with them as they are the best IMO for springs. I say install both. u can't really notice the rear drop since its like about half an inch.

I believe this is incorrect. I had Swift Springs on my car before replacing them with HKS Hipermax M1 coilovers. Swift Springs drop the car 1-inch in front and 0.6 inch in the rear. To my knowledge they are the only lowering springs that take into account the OEM stance of the IS-F and the fact that the 12 o'clock position of the rear wheel well is lower than it is for the front wheel well. Properly installed, they give a balanced, aggressive stance to the IS-F that drops the front more than the rear (as it should be).

Yes, you're right. I just dug up my measurements and its closer to half an inch as stated on their website.

I don't have many photos of my car. This one is in front of my house. I really need to find some time.

Isfjames your car looks sweet! Is this a good substitute for coil overs? Just looking to change the height, def like the a smaller wheel gap. How much different is the ride compared to 08 stock? Will this set up look good with stock wheels.

Thanks everyone. The swift rides like stock. I think it looks perfect with the stock wheels. Let me find a photo.

Installed only the fronts. I love the amount of drop and feel of the springs. Cleaned up the look greatly.

Looks great! Did it cut that stock gap in halve? How is the ride over uneven pavement, same as stock?
