+1 on that one. I really hope you all can figure it out. It would be huge for the lexus community. Im sure we would see some super sleepers really soon.

I want to have a sleeper, but i like my car to be loud lol

One thing is for sure, once the tune is done, cams will be right behind to get developed. Then its going to be a whole new game.

So for the guys who are wondering, there is NOTHING, absolutely nothing out for the F. But we will be sittig down this wednesday and discussing all abou the F, will be data logging, and like every V8, we are going to try and hit a 450-475whp, 50-65whp after a tune. Now for those saying its impossible, look at EVERY V8 engine, and this is what they pull out of it, after a tune. Take all the time in the world, and you will see its true. With this said, after a few weeks, maybe 1K miles or so, we will start discussing, or better yet, make a turbo kit where we use either new exhaust manifolds, maybe going of the sikky design, and try to bolt the if we have enough room, in the rear lower section engine, it wont be an easy task, but it can be done, we will have to design a different pan(maybe) for the returns and and make sure the turbos are high enough for them aswell. Alot of testing, designing and work will be going into my car real soon, but its something i hope to accomplish and give to the Lexus community. Being the 1st tuned F, the 1st 450-475whp F all motor, and hopefully the first to hit 600-650whp and possibly 700whp (if the engine allows ) with no juice would be a accomplishment. Once all goes down, i will be making a thread, updating as often as possible with any little thing, and try to get datalogs, videos and info out to you guys.
Good luck!! I will have to grab an F if this all pans out well!

If you purchased the ISF thinking that it would be like a Honda Civic that you can mod the h3ll out of it, then you have the wrong car. To many people the ISF is the best in its class. I'm not the only member in here on his second ISF... even better, there are people in this forum that went to a different car (just like you said) but came back to another ISF. As I said before, once you drive an ISF it gets very hard to find a replacement, and to me that replacement was a new ISF.

Good luck with the project, it'd be great for all of us if you guys make it happen!

You know there are horsepower junkies out there and when they reach the limit on their F they jump ship. They will probably do it on the next car as well. It's a vicious cycle.

^^^ I know what you mean, however the ISF is the wrong platform for an HP war. Get a Supra or a GT-R and park it next to the ISF.

Besides I/H/E, the only other safe mods I can think of for the F is ported throttle body, ported intake, speed de-limiter, and NOS. The fastest ISF in the world did this and achieved ~630 RWHP

I'd be real surprised if there's an additional 45-60whp hidden in the is-f ecu. I was only able to coax out an additional 15 whp before the afr's got into the danger zone.

15whp on a v6 is about right, look at the 350z, g35, 370z, g37, srt6, is300 all motor.

Compare the larger displacemet and 2 extra cylinders to that of any ls engine, mustang engines, and all the trucks with V8 engines(silverado, tundra, titan) they all range about 50-65whp more power after tune with all mods. Thats what we are pushing for. And hopefully 630whp will be a number of the past, on boost.

Update for you guys. After talking to them personnaly today, they know their stuff. This will be a parallel/standalone system. Not a piggyback. So get ready for alot, alot of awesome good features. 32inputs and 32outputs. If all goes well even cam and throttle will be controlled, making it possible for more power. In about three weeks, we will start the R&D and ive seen some of these guys work. Their welding, custom work, all is impressive. They will be getting their tools, their equipment all ready and we will have a friday of fun runs and sat of research. We will be taking signals from sensors, cam/crank positions and relativity. It will be a fun project, and i cant wait to work on my baby. New sensors will be used, new signals will be interfaced to make sure its 100% proof. Once all is done, more sensors will be installed, and a custom turbo kit will be made. There is plenty of room under the headers, perfect place for turbos, but the hard part will be the intake side. All can be done. And a thread will be made in @ 2-3 weeks with all the results and work. Pictures and videos will be posted as all will be something thay will get the interest of alot. Once its all said and done, you guys can judge.

Cant wait for it, and i cant wait to start breaking and making records.
