Was looking to change the shift ****, does anyone know the size? Will a M8 size shift **** fit? Any help from members that changed theirs would be great! Also will a 42mm be too small?

M8 sounds right. Is the 42mm referring to the width or diameter of the shift ****? If so, then I think it would feel and look too dinky on the shift lever.
Would you mind posting a link to the **** if there is one?

M8 x 1.25 for sure.
42mm as in the diameter and m8 i guess referred to the threading or width of the shifter? Lobux are you currently using a m8 x 1.25, 42mm converted is about 1.6" so would that look too large? Ive always liked the think design silver carbon fiber **** but have been reluctant to pay so much for such something most people wouldnt notice haha

If you like it get it. Don't worry about what others will notice or like.
FWIW, I cut about 3/8 inch off the top of my threaded shift lever. That way, my shift **** looks "stubbier" since it sits lower to the console.

The threading is M8 x 1.25, so any **** with this threading will fit. The size of the **** is up to you. If you like it, that's really all that matters.
Oh I absolutely LOVE the silver carbon fiber think design **** but I can definitely find a better use for the $$. The **** I want is similar to the **** on the IS300, but I dunno if the diameter is the same.... anyone got pics? SHOW ME YOUR *****! Thanks guys!

Seriously post pics of your shift *****
